Remembering Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

It is with deep sorrow that we received the news of the passing of YABhg. Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Malaysia’s fifth Prime Minister, who returned to the mercy of Allah yesterday. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his beloved family, and we pray that Allah SWT grants him the highest place in Jannah and rewards him for his lifelong service to the nation and ummah.
Tun Abdullah, affectionately known as Pak Lah, led Malaysia through a transformative period marked by calm, wisdom, and integrity. A man of deep faith and quiet strength, his leadership was rooted in Islamic values—emphasizing wasatiyyah (moderation), transparency, and the moral compass of governance. His promotion of Islam Hadhari offered a vision of Islam that was progressive, inclusive, and forward-looking, reminding us all that spiritual development and national progress go hand in hand.
As a statesman, Tun Abdullah’s contributions extended beyond politics. He emphasized education, public service reform, and interfaith harmony—laying foundations that continue to benefit Malaysia today. His humility, gentleness, and soft-spoken resolve left an indelible mark on those who observed and followed his leadership.
At R4K Academy and Elmina Bronco Rugby Club, we strive to nurture a new generation of youth grounded in discipline, respect, and service—values that resonate with Tun Abdullah’s legacy. His life reminds us that leadership is not about volume or vanity, but about purpose, patience, and principle. He showed us that strength lies in restraint, that progress can be compassionate, and that faith must be the anchor of all ambition.
May Allah SWT forgive his shortcomings, multiply his rewards, and reunite him with the righteous in the Hereafter. Ameen.

Calling all young athletes in Elmina! The Elmina Bronco Rugby Club is thrilled to announce the formation of a dedicated girls' team. If you're a girl between the ages of 9 and 12 and have a passion for rugby or simply want to try a new sport, this is your chance!
Tryouts are happening every Saturday at 8 AM at the Padang Bola Denai Alam (Elmina Bronco Rugby Field).
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the fundamentals of rugby, build friendships, and develop valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience. The Elmina Bronco Rugby Club provides a supportive and inclusive environment for all players.
