What a weekend for the Elmina Bronco family!

The MBPJ Cobra 10s Mini 2025 was a thrilling showcase of grit, teamwork, and heart, and our young Broncos showed up ready to leave everything on the field. Against a backdrop of excited fans and fellow clubs, the atmosphere was electric , and our players, coaches, and parents embraced the spirit of the game .

U7 Triumphs as Plate Champions!

A massive congratulations goes out to our brilliant Under 7 (U7) squad! These young superstars gave us an unforgettable performance, fighting hard in Group A and ultimately emerging as the Plate Champions! 

Their incredible weekend included a commanding 20-0 victory over Putra Eagles in the Plate Semi Final, before securing the title with a tight, well-earned 10-5 win against KL Saracens in the Plate Final. The effort, commitment, and visible camaraderie in every game truly set the standard for the club.

U11's Fighting Spirit Shines

Our Under 11 (U11) team displayed immense fighting spirit, proving their mettle throughout the tournament. The team showed excellent cohesion , advancing all the way to the Plate Final. Despite a narrow 0-5 loss to KL Saracens in the final match, they proudly walked away as the well-deserved Plate Runners-Up. We salute their determined effort!

Heart and Hustle Across All Categories

Every Elmina Bronco team demonstrated invaluable hard work and commitment, making the club incredibly proud:

• Under 9 (U9): The U9 team fought their way to a fantastic 3rd Place finish in the Plate competition, winning the 3rd/4th Play Off 15-12 against KL Saracens Red. This team showcased both high-speed attack and relentless defence .

• Under 10 (U10) & Under 12 (U12): Our U10 and U12 teams finished their campaigns on a high note, both securing 11th Place overall. The U10s crushed Thirteen Rhino Rugby Club 30-0, while the U12s delivered an emphatic 41-0 win in their respective 11th/12th Play Off matches.

It was a fantastic day filled with high-intensity tackles, spectacular runs, and crucial team huddles . The lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the experience gained by every young player is truly the greatest victory of all.
